NJ DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE INFORMATION REGARDING "SPOTTED LANTERNFLY"
The New Jersey Department of Agriculture published information regarding the Spotted Lanternfly, which has been spotted in both Mercer and Warren counties. To prevent the spread of Spotted Lanternfly, the State Department of Agriculture has quarantined the two affected counties and Hunterdon County. Businesses and the general public in the quarantine area are required to obtain and fill out a New Jersey residence checklist before moving and of the articles listed on their website, here: https://www.nj.gov/agriculture/news/press/2018/approved/press180731.html. Business entities that routinely travel in and out of the quarantine area are required to take, and pass, training regarding the Spotted Lanternfly that is supplied for free by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture at http://bit.ly/2K92DdZ.
