ATTENTION: First Quarter Taxes Due 2/1/2025
RARITAN TWP., N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The first quarter (Q1) of tax payments are due February 1, 2025.
The Tax Collector’s Office recommends residents to make their payments in advance of the due date. There are various ways to ensure your payment is processed on time:
- Online: Residents who wish to make their payments using this method may do so by using the user portal;
- Lockbox Drop-Off: Collection of tax payments made at our lockbox is located on the right-hand side of the Main Entrance of the Municipal Building, 1 Municipal Drive, Flemington, N.J. 08822. The box is checked multiple times daily. Payments received after 4:00 pm will be posted the next business day
- Note: Effective 8/11/2022, pursuant to Resolution 22-90, the Township will no longer accept cash for property tax payments;
- Mail: Residents can send their check or money order payable to: Raritan Township Tax Collector, 1 Municipal Drive, Flemington, N.J. 08822. In addition, please include the remittance/stub portion of your bill.
- To receive a receipt, please include both portions of your bill along with a self-addressed stamped envelope; and
- In-Person: Residents can stop by the Tax Collector’s Office, Room 168, with a check or money order payable to Raritan Township at the Municipal Building (address listed above).
As a reminder, taxpayers are encouraged to read all the information contained on the front and back of their tax bills. In accordance with N.J.S.A. Stat. § 54:4-64, failure to receive a tax bill does not exempt a property owner from payment of taxes or interest due on any delinquencies.
